Day 1

Your tour begins in Brussels, which can easily be reached on a morning train from Paris. On arrival in Brussels you will be met by your expert guide, who will transport you in a private car for the 40-minute drive to the Waterloo battlefield. You will then spend the day touring the battlefields with your guide. The Butte de Lion, the Wellington Museum, the battlefield at Quatre Bras, the Napoleon Museum at Le Caillou, Hougoumont Chateau and more will all be visited during this special day. At each stop your expert guide will detail the phases of the battle and share the stories of the men who fought and died there. In the evening your guide will take you to your charming 3-star hotel located right on the battlefield – each beautifully decorated room is named after a key character from the Waterloo battle.

Day 2

Another enthralling day spent on the battlefield. Your guide can customise your visits today to take in particular sites you wish to see, or allow him to guide you to out-of-the way locations that many visitors miss. In the afternoon you will farewell the Waterloo battlefield for the return drive to Brussels. Your guide can drop you either at the train station for an onward connection, or to a Brussels hotel.
